Actually I worked some xylophone samples into my Candiria cover. I can't record any Dimensions Divide guitars at the moment though, because there is a leak in my basement. |

There is not enough xylophone in any form of music. |

http://soundcloud.com/geoffhodsman/xylophonic There it is so far. Take a listen. Too much room reverb on drums, or just enough? |

I'll see your xylophone and raise a glockenspiel. Certainly has a more metal name

The decline in xylophone in music was caused by the death of Frank Zappa. |

I had a nice conversation with Frank on the phone once. He seemed way too normal. I did not know it was him at the time. I would have shat myself had I known. |

Also I was confused. He did not play xylophone over the telephone at me. |

It's truly not as fun as it sounds. It started as I delivered papers at 3 am to his studio in North Hollywood. Well a couple of years later my roomie (this is the roomie that was Randy Rhoads best friend) had a couple of his friends over, they were an older couple he had know for years and they were in the pool with their daughter and daughter's friend. The phone rings and I answer it, and the guy asks if Diva is there. so I wasn't sure of the friends name so he mentions she's the friend of the other couple etc.. I say oh yea, she's here, he was asking what they were doing and if the kids were having a good time and was cool just making small talk, so he asked if she wasn't in the pool if I could get her so he co0uld talk to her. so I went and got her, so .. Kim(roommate): *smiling* tor: What??? Kim: That was her dad? tor: uhh, yeah... Kim: uhhh, do you know who she is? tor: no. Kim: Diva tor: ok..... Kim: Zappa tor:...... .... .... tor: fffffffuuuuuuuuuuuuuuuu............ so I talked to Frank about useless meaningless weather and the pool.... Not as cool as it sounds huh.... |

Being that only mundane topics were addressed makes it way more awesome. |
