...a Rivera Quiana 2x12 combo in exchange for either a Randall RM100 head or a Marshall JVM 210H head? I would, for a number of reasons. What sayeth thee? This, of course, being for my friend who is selling the aforementioned. He got offered the Rivera as a straight-up trade for either. The Rivera is worth more new than either to begin with, and is a more unique piece, especially in a town where few people have interesting gear. The Rivera should, in theory, also have a bitchin' clean channel (especially for a high gainer) and be super-well-made. And, of course, sound kickass. I'd do it. Et tu?

Would fuckin' do it. Nothing against those other heads, but they are pretty run of the mill, ya know? |

I do know. I mean, they're good and all, but I told him to go for it unless he really just needs the cash. The Rivera'd be harder to flip, for sure (though it's worth more) but it's certainly more innerestin'.The Marshall and Randall gather dust anyhow. They don't really sound like him to my ears; even the Ultra module on the Randall. |

The Rivera would definitely be a bit of a bitch to flip outside of the boutique snob community, but I'd imagine (if he got along with it, assuming) that that'd be something you'd never get rid of.

I keep wanting to call it a Rivera Quinoa because I think that's funny. ![]() I could see him rocking it for the clean channel alone, never mind the gain. And it would be the kind of thing I might be interested in were it to get flipped at some point. The problem with trying to sell nifty stuff in a one-horse town is that nobody knows what it is. |

yeah I would take that, might be a good idea to introduce said friend to TGP if he needed to ever flip it. Someone there would snatch it up. |

I'm fairly certain he's on there; I know he knows of its existence. He's on HCAF, Gearslutz and Andy Sneap's forum, among others, but he doesn't post much if at all these days. I'll pass on the relevant information though; everyone's telling him "take it".
