I almost cried at band practice tonight....
I finally get to see my pedal board for the first time in 3 weeks
(went 2 weeks without band practice
)... and of course the first thing i turn on is my lovely BYOC LB Fuzz
but what comes out of my speakers isn't fuzzy goodness
instad i'm getting a weak ass just barely clipping noise that resembles a guitar signal
get home after band practice and open her up and everything seems ok... I start tugging wires, checking that no connections are shorting and still it was just
so on the verge of
I went
every component to see if there were any loose and...
HA!!!!!!
I found the resistor that was causing the problem... upon further examination, I noticed that I had done a
PISS FUCKING POOR solder joint on one side
fixed it so now im all
again.... CSB!!!!!!
TLDR: my homebuilt fuzz didn't work, but i fixed it at home
