Pretty typical modern metal stuff, but I thought the melody/harmony arrangement (not actual vocal sound) of the clean vocals was a notch above usual. I also don't think the singer's style is whiny-teenager or emasculated enough (Periphery, I'm looking at you here) to have the "emo" pejorative applied. Ironically, the one thing as a metal-outsider that stands out to me is the least metal thing going on here. I suppose I don't have enough vested interest to find it offensive, just kinda... there. That being said, I'd rather listen to the posters in the thread because their stuff is more interesting and has way more vibe.

Also, having heard today what is either a recent Nickelback single or, in Satan's glorious name help us their frontman gone solo, nothing can approach that as the gold standard for suck and not rocking.
