Sir, it is Friday.

Actually I thought I wouldn't, but I do. :D And I come home to a super awkward meeting with my cousin. He's in town for a family event. He defaulted to bed right after, even though he was chilling on the couch when I got home. That is a fine way to handle awkward. I've chosen instead to retreat to my mancave and mix tracks. Who cares if I'll be all sleepy tomorrow.

I was busily learning my new monitors, mostly by putting on wonderful sounding records and sitting in front of them with a book and a glass of wine. I did post a couple times. :idk:

I was in the fucking woods. Cutting down trees and shit.

Weird what happens when one removes the internet from the equation.

Not so much, but hopefully i have another guitar or two's worth of the lightning tree. It may never dry out enough to build with though. I need a motherfucking wood kiln or some shit.

Also: i lit a chainsaw on fire.

Which at the time struck me as kind of metal.

I have been busy working construction and sleeping, I apologize. And Chris, that is pretty fucking metal.

It's genetic, bro. But it skipped a generation, therefore my beard growing skills descended from Chris.

How does one manage to light a chainsaw on fire? Re: its metalness, I can't argue with that. :bangin:

I don't suppose i gave it enough breathing time between cuttings. It was a cheapo saw. I didn't think to bring The Real Live Proper Saw up, so i was using one that was really moar suited for trimming brush and shit, than for cutting up trees up.

But it was interesting: a loud distinctly disconcerting "POPCRACK!" from the motor area that prompted the cessation of cuttings. Looked at it, and realized 1. the plastic case was quite melted on its side and 2. the err... black smoke pouring out of it. :red:
