This too. There's one part in... I believe it's Life In The Freezer where he's standing in this barren wasteland in Goddamn, Antarctica nonchalantly pointing out that the freeze-dried seal carcass at his feet belongs to a species that's been extinct for thousands of years. The bit in Life Of Mammals with the elephants in the salt cave is a personal favorite of mine, too. Random trivia: Mr. (Is this correct? He is Sir David Attenborough after all.) Attenborough once kept ring-tailed lemurs around the house. Apparently they were a bit messy. |
