We are kinda split as to if/when we pull the members over. As of right now there was a split on the vote to let the members know of this maps as it is supposed to be the backup forum in case the other one goes down. I think we are awaiting on your vote to advise the members of this new joint.

I was surprised today I've not gotten any compression errors over at TS.

I will say I do enjoy the speed of this forum, although we were down for about 2 hours the otherday. They were fast to get it back up once I called them.

So What say you? We tell the others to register here so if TS goes down, or do we keep it on the sly and BAM! Whip it out as full awesomeness once TS shits the bed?

Hmm. I understand that dilemma.

At the same time that i greatly appreciate the provision by Sleepwalken of TS as a refugee camp settlement, i must say the blinding slowness of it combats my desire to spend much extended time there. :idk:

Probably you are right though, to save it, as a contingency plan in the event that full disaster strikes and sweeps Tone Settings into the sea.

Yeah, I'm split here as well. This forum is running phpBB which is a nice fast forum. The cost of the software is free, but it's been around a long time, the cost to me is little for the server and the domain, so having a good backup is great, but as you say, I too get frustrated by the slowness at TS and having to click multiple times to post something or view it. Well, let's see how things progress is the new few weeks or so. I truly like Sleepwalken he is an awesome dude, I think our traffic overwhelmed the forum.
