Yeah I was thinking also, a lot of them are faking it, possibly out of mortal fear. Helps that there was a camera on them. But whatever it is, it's fucked up.

Well many N. Koreans have been programmed at birth to believe KJL was indeed a god-king who was a gift from the heavens, and are legitimately mourning the loss of their god.

On the other hand, many are mourning out of fear of labor camps. So it's a toss-up.
