Basically, what bands do you like that lie in a category that is primarily filled with absolute shit? Just because they play it on the radio doesn't mean it's radio-rock. My definition would be basically bands that have made a career off of scavenging bits of meat from glorious bands of the 90's. Examples; Puddle Of Mudd, Nickelback, Three Doors Down, Shinedown and Hinder. I can't lie, I have a soft spot for Everclear. ![]() And I think Boston qualified as Radio-rock back in the day.

I like a lot of what would be considered rawk pop. Everclear I like a lot of stuff, I like Muse. I like some 3 Days Grace. In my last cover band we did a lot of that stuff, but it's what gets you paid in the night clubs on Long Island which has a horrible original music scene right now. Not that the bands are horrible, it's just, well have you seen any television with people from Long Island on them? They suck a lot of dicks. I am so ashamed of these dreadful people. |

I like Muse. But they're hardly '90s post-grunge stragglers. Oddly enough, a few tracks from the past couple Muse records pack dance floors at goth clubs.

I cannot think of anything of the modern era of radio rock that i can get into. Oh, wait, do they play Wilco on the radio? Because i definitely dig a lot of that stuff. For the most part though, the late nineties were about the last time that mainstream radio had anything on it that i would care to listen to. |

Does Placebo count? I like Placebo quite a lot. |

They certainly have. I just wish I had seen them on the Sleeping With Ghosts tour. Bah. |

I suppose there are plenty of musics that would make the list for me, but none of them are current. |

Boston is one of the best bands to ever grace this planet. |
