yeah man-- it's called 'lets go eat the factory'-- i just got it-- and have only previewed it for a second. it's all 4 track stuff to my knowledge as well-- at least according to bob pollard's website. i'll give er it's first whirl today on the way and at work... involuntary singing may erupt.

i can't even tell you how mad i am that i missed that lineup touring in october. will report back ASAP on record quality. i've liked what i heard so far.. but it's GBV.. and tobin sprout's involved. :D

well.. i got my ears on it.

this is the darkest GBV record yet. definitely not the overwhelming levity of bee thousand by a longshot... it's alright. it hasn't made me jump up and down yet.. but i have AN listen in. i'm still stoked of it's existence.. but i gotta live with it a while!

Yarr, i tracked it down in internetland to hear it. After a listen i don't quite know 100%. It has elements of several eras of GBV to my ears, which is unsurprising(and fine by me, as i like all of them pretty much), but after one hearing, not much has popped out and struck me in the fashion that random tracks on a GBV record generally tend to.

Even at their worst though, Guided By Voices are one of the finest rock/pop bands ever to have existed. So even if no tune ever pops out and strikes me as i have come to expect of them, it is still going to be a good rock record. :huzzah:
