Of course, simple song, but I do some cool licks and a pretty cool solo around the middle. Check it out, tones are MJM London Fuzz into a dirty Mesa Mark III. Who knew my Mark would work with fuzz, but it does.

It is basically a modded blackface Fender, after all.
People stereotype amps pretty bad sometimes. Especially high gainers. Some of them are very versatile. And I haven't met a Mark-series I haven't liked. (I gigged with a IV A for some years; my bandmate has a III. Engineered some sessions with a V. Played the others, too.) They're quirky, cranky and counterintuitive. Also, they sound awesome.

I liked the clean/crunch-y tones out of the Mark III I played (the only Mark series I have played) better than the straight up metal overload tones. This was probably an issue of saturation as I like fairly hairy DM type tones but fairly dry and gritty rockstortion OD tones. The cleans on that thing raped.

The lead channel on all of them is pretty well the same. Yeah, there are variations, some are smoother, some more aggressive, and people on the intarwebs will argue endlessly about them, but in the end they do the same thing. I barely touched the graphic EQ on mine, preferring the smooooth mid thing to the V shape. The low wattage settings are an awesome lead tone, and Simul-Class is very spiffy. I miss mine. With the right compliment of tubes*, that thing came alive in a real serious way.
*- I liked a pair of NOS GE 6L6GCs and a pair of SED/Svetlana EL34s. Mullard RIs and JJs for the preamp.
The Marks have one of the better clean channels for a channel-switcher. I'd rate a Shiva or a Hot Cat above it, but it makes a credible clean noise for sure. I wonder how they'd sound through Jensens or alnico Webers?
