Just got Hope For Men a few days ago. I don't like it as much as King of Jeans but it's got some cool songs AND, this particularly badass one.

I fucking love how that one kick kicks right in and starts smashing faces up. "I'VE GOT SOMETHING TO TELL YOU. I HOPE YOU DON'T TAKE IT WRONG. BUT YOU'VE GOT A SECRET ADMIRER, AND I THINK HE'S SINGING A SONG."

Also, overall, i really enjoy that singer's take on straddling that line between rockingthefuckout, and being awkward/creepy about it all.

I've Still Got You (Ice Cream), Fantasy World, Scrapbooking, etc. And tunes like Goodbye (Hair) from King Of Jeans, and I Broke My Own Heart from the first record(which i would totally poast a video of if there was one, because it is lyrically fantastic.)

Also, now i have to go listen to Pissed Jeans for the rest of the day.

I actually liked Marry Me more than Actor. At least at first. Don't know why. I should listen to all three in a row and make up my mind.

Oh, and she's playing here in May at the venue across from ze Snaxodrome.

I still find Actor to be my favorite. The brandy new one has been growing on me though. At this juncture, i may even like it a bit more than Marry Me. I think i just like the more recent ones mostly, because they have such a mean/broken edge to so many of the sounds.

I would definitely like to see her at some point. As she is basically going to be playing on your front porch, you will have to attend.
