And it was very pleasing. Not an accurate headphone, but a very pleasant one. And so fucking comfy. They have them out to demo at the Apple store. They are rather expensive. They give me GAS. |

I really do need new listening devices, too. The left side of my Senn in ears is quieter than the right. |

Trick I learned in high school with earbuds: when one gets quieter than the other, suck on it. It'll pop the diaphragm back out where it should be. YMMV but it's worth a try. |

Delicious delicious?  The Apple store actually does carry some decent sounding stuff, but unsurprisingly they want a bit much for it. B&W and Grado both cater mostly to the hi-fi crowd, but their speakers and headphones respectively have wormed their way into more than a few studios.

Delicious is as good a descriptor as any for how these sound. They sound like the mushy leather seats in one of those big Lincolns you hire to take you to the airport. |

interesting. i usedta use B&W monitors for recording-- but the headphone thing is new for them. they're a little blingy for my tastes! i finally offed the monitor after a few years 'cause they had a lifted top end that drove me to frikken drink with all the extraneous detail that made my fillings hurt. made for fantastic studio monitoring though.. but casual listening.. oi... ouch! they were also mega power hungry sumbitches as well with their mega high order crossover, and my tube amps hated them... but they sounded alright with a 250wpc adcom driving 'em. i'd be curious to check 'em out though-- they certainly do make a lovely product though-- must be said. is the top end super detaily on them, or is it actually comfortable listening- they LOOK like they'd be pillows on the ears

Looks do not decieve, it was like angels were caressing my ears with their leather clad bosoms. Highs were very detailed, indeed. Low mids, also quite rich. |
