Re: CL ad of the day It is the whole package really. Remove any single aspect of the ad and it just isn't as funny.
The crab meat is just totally required character information. Like what kind of man IS this? What are the attributes which best describe him? The trains, JO-partner seeking, the monster play, the fact that the trains aren't even his really. The age range of who he is looking for is also classic. But really, after all of that, it comes down to: this is the type of man who has really ridiculous amounts of, imitation even, crab meat around the house at any given time. That is just excellent character development.
