Mofongo:

Peel a green plantain and cut into 1" slices. Place pieces in water with salt(or adobo) for 15 min. Fry them in vegetable oil at medium heat for about 15 min so they are fully cooked but not toasted. Smash in a "pilon"(see below) a bit of oil or butter and a clove of garlic. Add the pieces of cooked plantain and keep smashing until it looks something like this:

Smoked pork chops

Buy them at a supermarket, heat them up in a pan for about 2min (mine are super thin) per side and enjoy.

What sort? I'm thinking I'll buy some wine later. I'm preferring it to whiskey these days. Because it's hot and I want a lot of something cold.

I had fake chicken patty, green beans and rice, but I was in a rush, but the lady had everything ready for me.

wash down with some Jet Fuel Coffee (the strongest Keurig there is, and tastey) then on to the Maker's. Oh I opened up my "white" wax maker's last night. So I'm down to just the Red left after this one. But there is still the large bottle of torched cherry Bacardi and the Monster sized Black Label

I don't need no glass! Glug glug glug.

And cans of Budweiser, because it's hot and I like that when in the summer. Sorry Sardo...

When i lived in NYC, the summer choice worked out to be about a case of Sapporo a month. Not too dissimilar in beeriness to the regular Bud, but i always liked the Sapporo moar. I wish i had some here right now actually.

Sapporo surely is a superior lager. But alas, moneys...

The Bud they brew here is just soft, unoffensive beer water. It works, can't complain.

geoff may I say

ok, someone gotta drink that piss. I will let you fly on that.

Chris, most excellent sounding. I love anything in a burrito. I would of course sub the chicky with some faux beast product, but it sounds quite delectable.

Sapporo while light still has umm, je ne sais quoi,..taste? yes that's it. But I cannot begrudge Bud I have drank more than my share of the swill in my life, and worse beer than that.
