At the gig yesterday for some reason the headliners (who took up sound duties) were fixiated on running an aux send to a delay pedal. So we had this ridiculous overcooked delay on the vocals and snare... :red:

It was gnarly having a miced kick and snare. BLASTBLSATBLASTBLAST

On the snare? :hypno: BLASTBlastblast? Bizarre,

Here's a guy cloning Binson Echorecs:

Makes me miss my Line 6 Echo Pro, which has an Echorec sim. They are spiffy.

Does he clone those? I thought he was more on the refurbish/repair/modding sort of angle.

But fo sho, the Echorec is one of the moast baddest assest echo units ever. That was the biggest impetus for the ridiculous multidelay that i drew up a while back (but cannot actually afford to build, due to its ridiculousness and general too-many-partsness). Mine is kookie though; to build a basic workalike for the Binson that only does the one thing, would be a lot simpler, i think.

It is one of those devices that i would expect a digital/line6 emulation to not be able to get fully. Like it might be able to do a close-enough multitap, but i would suspect that it would not be able to properly emulate the "Swell" mode. Which is aptly named for the sound and the fact that it is properly swell.

I watched a couple and I think its a modern clone because the motor speed control was push button on the real ones and his is variable with a knob.
