Consider this journal entry #1, from here on out I shall be growing out my beard (no trimming or anything) until I return from Alaska.
I hope it will be long enough to braid by time I return.

The amount of time this took is hard to define, as I do normally trim.
This is 5 days of no trimming starting with a pretty well kept, and fairly tight to the face beard.

I *almost* let one grow this year, but it seems to adversely affect my mindset when i have a proper beard on, so i had to remove it.

There's always next year.

I am not shaving or trimming until Babs is back from LA, which means early august.

Geoff cut his dreads, so he needs something to compensate for the loss of weight. We don't want him getting neck problems.

Actually my neck was indeed a bit sore for two days after the big cut.

I like shaving though. I like my smelly aftershave.

I cant even grow that much of a beard yet, only chin hairs so far. I dont know how you went through puberty faster than your father, son.

tor does not do the beard thing.... that's more for you lads... Gets in the way of my androgyny.

That is both logical and understandable.

One of the proper crossdresser doods i used to know actually gravitated towards kind of a full mountain man beard. Now THAT shit was strange.

Word. Me not removing hairs from things just looks patchy and bad anyhow. Also itchy.

While the Civil War General beard or Kaiser Wilhelm Mustache or whatnot totally doesn't do it for me, I endorse rocking that sort of thing for those whom it suits as an affront to taste. Roll with whatchu got and make it work.

My facial hair is like 87 different colors, so I keep it shaved to a chinky goatee. (mustache, soul patch, and chin hair)


I had a full beard when I was 13 though... looked like I should've been a member of Mastodon or some shit.

My facial hair isn't thick enough to compete If I don't shave for a while it just looks like long stubble rather than proper beardhair.

My father was a beard man, and his father and his father before that. Hecks are beardmen. Oh, and my dad was like Curtis, full beard in 8th grade.. Ridiculous.
