I wound up mixing it with Coke. The mint overpowered everything. Like, you could smell it across the room. On the plus side, we certainly had fresh breath. It was free though, which is the best price of all, and we still have half of it.

Very heavy cardamom angle innit. Delicious in a way, on the onesies.

Kind of like the really spicey/banana hefeweisens, i don't think i would like too many of them in a row.

I am not, as a general rule, a beer man, but I love the packaging here. And I'd try this, on a whim. This fits my criteria of interesting and I generally only have one anyhow before switching to whatever wine, whiskey or cocktail is available. I don't know if I've ever had a spicebeer, but considering my taste in beers runs to severe porters or IPAs, anything heavily something'd I'd be down for consuming one of.

To Geoff: bumwine! I've never had- I suppose their reputation precedes them. How foul are they? Or is it just that they're instant hangover juice?

We bought wine earlier, so I picked up a miniature of this whilst at the boozestore as I haven't had whiskey in forever and I've been curious to try this:


Pretty good. Preferable to the regular white label Beam. Not the most complex bourbon on the planet, a little sweet, definitely oaky, not harsh at all for being 90 proof. A good flavor, with no weird notes that make me think I'm drinking cheap swill or straight grain mash. Worth the 99¢ I spent for a glass.

Well while the Wild I made sunlight intolerable Night Train made my feet go numb. There is something more than alcohol in there, I'm sure of it. I need beers to 'set me straight' after I drink it.

It's official. I'm dumping my current home brew I made a dry stout but I ended up with too much water after the boil and it turned out kinda watery with no real body. I soldiered though about half of it, gave it time but in the end its just a bad beer.

Pseudo-Bock or Porter is up next and I'm not going to fuck this one up
