I have missed part of this thread with workfuckingsucking. Dogfish is some great shit. I like the 60 a lot, but that 90 is some properly great beer. Yes expensive, but if you're in a place/mood to only have 1 beer, that is the one. The make a Raison D'Etre which is really nice also, and I'm not one usually for that type of thing, but again that one comes in a pack of 4 I think. Again, priced like a pack of four which means high. I think I may have gotten it in a multipack with different flavors.

I never got into the Raison D'Etre, but my sister and her husband love it. It was a bit too pruney for me.

Essentially, yes. I don't even think of it as an Adult Beverage, as it were; it's a foodstuff. I don't have the capacity for more than one or two.

Waterloo's spring trio pack thing. PBR. Rockstar with vodka... Because I needed to both get buzzed and awake.

Myself, i roll like medieval times 'round here. I consider it the safer alternative to local water. :red:

Which, i actually mean. This town flushes all of its water treatment systems with chlorine in spring, instead of the milder non-clorine disinfectant they normally use. Fucking tap smells like a YMCA swimming pool. Pool water being perhaps one of my least favorite things ever.

So my medieval peasant gruel-based wintertimes, around here, segue cleanly into the medieval practice of knowing that bad water won't brew.

Therefore, brewed beer = safe water. :huzzah:

Food truck rodeo in downtown today. It's exactly what it sounds like, and it was fantastic. Had some delicious ass tacos, had some City of Blokes English Pub Ale (a bitter ale) by Raleigh Brewing Company that was ok, but ended up drinking Brooklyn Lager for the rest of the night. And I have to say, I really like Brooklyn Lager. It is not pricey 'round these parts and it is not alcoholy tasting while ringing in the upper 5% range (if drunk memory serves 5.8%).

Chris has the right of it, methinks. And why bother getting bottled water? I only get that if it's for free when I'm playing a show.

Remember, kids, Beethoven's consumption was considered not immoderate; he only drank two bottles of wine a day on average. It's not like you're sitting around swilling vodka all day.

Really, it's just what there used to be to drink, and it worked fine for centuries. Can't argue with results. :snax:

I've had a couple of bad drinking gigs (not during, but afterwards) so I am going to try to back off a bit, mixing Vidka tonics then Sailor Jerry & coke, then topping it off with maker's straight, while make me amicable to fans doesn't make me feel to good the next am....
