This asshole needs to disappear. How do you take care of things?

Possibly. I didn't mean "rat" in the literal sense (your intruder being a mouse, and you being a Keeper Of Rats would know the difference anyhoo.) but it could be taken that way.

I had a mouse once. It came up through the vents. My stupid cats cornered it under my synths and left it there all day while I was at work. I captured it in a pasta sauce jar that was in the recycling bin and deported it to the neighbor's garden.

We have the girlfriend's dog over and our first night with her, the mouse/mice completely empty her food dish while we slept. This is a dog that eats occasionally when the mood strikes sort of thing, so the food bowl is just always loaded. So it's like a fucking buffet here.

This must end. We are going to move. But until then I will spare nothing in my attempts to eradicate them.
