The tag is 100% classic, and if it could be expected to survive, i would be inclined to leave it on the front.

But, in fact those tags are made for the exact opposite porpoise, i.e. they are designed essentially to disintegrate moments after the awkward business gathering or PTA meeting as expired, and so in light of this and the fact that it is clearly already feeling the tug of the abyss, i might be inclined to move it into a safer location, maybe spraymount it into the cabinet like the model tag on an old fender or something.

The placement as is is good. As if the amp were a shirt.
