'Cause I'm getting sick of listening to the same shit over and over again. I'm open to anything. If you know what I mean. |

Jethro Tull Aqualung Sir Mix-A Lot Baby Got Back anything by Ted Nugent Or, more seriously, what Chris said. Tell us whatchu like and the collection of oddballs and deviants here will recommend you things you probably haven't heard yet but should. |

Fuggit. Here is a pile of shit that i have been liking for long and short amounts of time. Where i could find 'em, there are full recoards poasted. Udderwise, generally, the rest of recoards from whence the songs poasted came, are generally swell. IMO. |

Now, for myself, there is one record that i cannot really fully explain why, but that has remained one of my absolute favorites for kind of a really long time now. This one: Really, i can't think of a record that i like more as a whole. It doesn't seem to hit anyone else this quite way though. It is perhaps my favorite, nevertheless. Something about the density of the arrangements, it is just chaotic stacks of sounds that somehow squashed into a kind of pop record. A lot of well-hidden dissonance, a lot of obscured layers that pop out with repeated loud listenings. I consistently like the bass treatments as well. It is not a bass sound i generally like(no high end to it, just a lot of boom) but i find it perfect here, possibly because the guitars are generally so far back as to make it work, i don't know. |

I'm almost surprised you hadn't recommended that one prior. I know that's your fave-o-rite record ever, or close enough, from what you've said over the years. It might not be the thing you listen to the most or obsess over or are even influenced by as a writer or player, but that's just The One. Floodland is that to me. Both of them are certainly layered things. |

Aaaaand, because the things I sent you are wonkyass broken bitches, you should ear these up: Really, this is basically just a continuation of Chris' posting, as that is where I got most of all this from. The songs are pretty accurate representations of what the bands are on about, so you can expect more of the same if you like something. |
