Animals Designed By Committee, pt. I
Some animals, such as the aardvark and the platypus, show evidence of having been designed by committee:

Either that, or some guys were clearly intoxicated when they came up with them. So, close enough as makes no difference.

In honor of this fine tradition, I propose we design an animal, or animals, by committee.

Propose a feature, characteristic, trait, etc. for this creature. If it recieves enough support- what constitutes "enough" being determined in a totally arbitrary manner, of course- it will be put up for a vote in a poll thread, perhaps against other features of said animal, perhaps not. The arbitrary nature of its design is key.

I'll start: it should have some eye-catching feature primarily used to attract or compete for a mate.

I like this idea. While the idea of a large beast trampling and crushing enemies sounds terrific, I think we should go more stealthy. Something that can sneak up on a bitch. We would have to, the lot of us don't crack the 1/8 ton in weight so it should represent us as so.

Venom/poison sounds like fun.

also, I don't like beady eyes. Maybe goat eyes, now that I have been swayed.

Perhaps the feet of a jaguar then, for such stealth.

When it takes to the water, it consumes algae. Specific algae. See here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sarpa_salpa
