Cranked mid-gain amps. Octave fuzz. Spawn Of Possession's snare sound on Cabinet. The entire production on Every Time I Die's The Big Dirty. Drum production with clear, crushing crash cymbals. Being able to hear the snare wire slap against the drumskin. Hearing fret/string noise on basses on a metal album (hearing bass in general). Guitar harmonies. The sound of a hollowbody into an overdriven amp. 5150s. FAT FUCKING SLAMZ. Huge slabs of Recto sound for power chord rawkz. Deceptively low gain rock tone. AC30s. I will add more as they come to me. |

An articulate and deep bass Very different amps mixed together singing smooth leads... doesn't matter how its achieved "Clean" clean tone that is perfect... almost an acoustic quality but with a bit of natural compression... neither bright nor warm... a bagillion acoustics playing at the same time dirty vocals that don't sound like pigs nor screaming little girls that slight more dark characteristic to a drop D power chord (the ones with just one finger) thick low mid emphasis without a lack of treble |

The sound of a pick scratching the strings when you pick while palm muting. The sound of playing B followed by A# when you're playing in E (if you've ever listened to anything I ever wrote, you'd know this  ).Slow chuggy riffage though I always fail when I try to write it. The above, plus tuned really low. Ala Evisceration Plague. Fucked up weird chords that shouldn't exist. The sound Randy Blythe makes in Laid to Rest at the end of the chorus (destroy your SEEEEEEEEEEEEELF!) |

The strings scraping against the fretboard of an acoustic whilst a note is being vibrato-ed. Guitar synths glitching. Recorded drum kits that sound like you're standing right in front of the kit in the room. Amps that sound like they're about to die. Jazz Bass and Telecaster bridge positions. Strat and Les Paul middle and neck positions. Vocoders. 909 hits. Light, airy, breathy sounding female vocalists. Violas and celli. Bassoons. Ring modulation. |

String scraping is a good one. In "To Forgive" by The Pumpkins there's this slight scrape that gives me chills every time I hear it in the intro. Lots of good ones in your list. Also; Billy Corgan's voice. Whatever is going on in Thirty-Three, that kinda psychedlic swelling slide guitar or whatever it is. Oh, yeah. FUCKING SLIDE GUITAR. Tuned bells and chimes. Orchestral instruments and arrangements used in an untraditional context. Harmonic Minor. Flat 5th chords. Using the wrong tool for the right job. "Vintage" tone. Overdriven tape inputs. |

It's superdepressing.  The woodwinds kick in at the end. The other two are somewhat more theatrical and less immediately mopey, but still very good. All three are worth your time.

Also, the theoretical sound of my rawkz band. These sounds include; Audible, overdriven bass. Fuzz guitars. Guitar harmonies out the ass (entire triad harmonies in spots). Big, ringing power chords. Huge drums-in-a-room sound. Multi-amp set up. |
