Did you get the 2x12 one or the 1x12?

I totally don't need one, or play broots remotely enough to justify owning one in addition to my already pretty gainy JCA50, but i still want a 6505. They just sound like glorious chainsaw violences.

I got the 112 which gets plenty loud for my basement hovel. Spent another day messing around with it nailing down some riffs and whatnot. I think next up is to fix the action on my neck since it seems a tad high on the higher frets past 12 or so. Floyd rose's are a bitch sometimes.

What type of guitar? Is it a proper Floyd? Or a licensed one?

If you are getting back into playing after a while not, it might be a good idea just to block the thing for now, just so you aren't just focusing 24/7 on chasing intonation and tuning ghosts all the time. Then unblock it when you are back up to speed playing-wise, and can focus more on the little stuff.

I love the floyd rose, but 90% of the time, i just don't have the patience to keep it in perfect order. :red:

It's a 1997 MIJ Jackson Kelly. It probably won't be a bad idea to block it, especially since I don't use a whammy bar in my playing. Took me nearly 2 hours to restring it the other week.

yar, the string changing is a bitch, I have a LP Axcess, I hate restringing it. It's blocked now. I have the EVH D-Tuna thingamabob on it so trying to do anything with intonation and tuning while floating is NOT going to happen.
