Still need to get a 2-channel looper for a bit more shenanigans with the synth and second delay, but it is so clean and bright:

Dang, that is quite the rig. Have really liked all the Walrus stuff I have encountered, got a Julia over here that's pretty rad.

Is that purple one on the left a 2-channel looper and you're gonna get another one in there? I got a Boss Line Selector that I've been using like that, kind of a neat and convenient solution. Very curious to hear what you're up to with this stuff.

ALSO, what the heck is up with that Time Traveler?

Yeah I am big fan of their stuff.

The purple one in the left is a two channel looper that lets me switch the order of my reverb and trem. The other looper I am waiting for also has a master bypass which should let me have a bit more usability for my synth and second delay.

The time traveler lets me sync up tempos between the two delays and the trem. The trem will reset its timing on a new tempo so it’s great to sort of snap everything into rhythm.

Thanks but I should already have one on the way. I will record up a little something soon. My computer is no longer next to my musical equipment in the new place so I have to figure out what my game plan is there.

Good news, the board has gotten significantly more dumb. I also now have a couple more bits including some workhorse mics (2x AT2020s, SM57, e906) and a shitty little laptop to track with. So I should be able to hook this all up and finally do some recording. Also turns out Astoria has very reasonable studio/rehearsal space available so hoping to take advantage of that.

I also picked up (I did some freelance recently and blowing all of that on gear cause why not?) a ‘97 Epi Sheraton from the Peerless factory days that is pretty fantastic. Pickups kind of suck but I expected that, but even then it still sounds pretty fantastic.

I look forward to hearing some of this noise. As a effect pedal luddite of sorts, i don't even know what a lot of those actually do. Too many manufacturers for me to keep track of these days. :red:

Whereabouts in Astoria are there rehearsal spots?

I probably would have enjoyed my time there a bit more if i had known of them.

Not being able to make loudnesses was definitely a major factor for me in evacuating that city/state.

There’s one here called Soundworks that has a few different levels of rooms you can book, than another called Otterhouse that I haven’t looked into yet but supposedly it’s also a good and slightly more affordable choice.

Damn, that is so rad. The split L/R inputs is a nice touch, I don't remember that being a thing on the older/bigger ones. Looks like a great platform for some spaced out shit.

In all honestly I am rather conservative with what I actually do with it sound wise. I just became oddly picky and had this weird idea for a stereo rig and well here we are.

Also the JC-40 has some really solid sounds in it. Nothing very exciting, but damn if it is not just a nice punchy clean sound.
