IIRC, BMW called it "champagne" or summat. |

'Tis Bronzit. Due to the relatively little information/popularity of these cars I was able to pick it up for only 3k from a somewhat desperate seller. |

It is in great condition. The miles are a bit high (180k), but this was just too much of a steal to pass up. The car is tip top inside and out, only needing a little cleaning. It was an absolute steal. |

ahh I know that colour quite well. My family is in the auto body business and I painted for many years, and we did the local BMW dealers repairs. Bronzit was a fuckt colour to match well, but 'tis beautiful |

Ah, how does Bronzit differ from Champagne? Or did they just call it two different things over time? |

bronzit is much more gold, compared to champagne which will have a tinge of pink/red, any reflective high metallic gold/silver can be a cunt to blend/match. You blend by overlapping, for example if you paint a front doow, you would blend the paint onto the fender about halfway and then again on the back door (or quarter panel if it's a 2 door) then clearcoat the whole adjacent panel. |

Fuck yes!! The E24s are a great body style. I used to have an E34 535i. I miss that car so much. At some point, I will own either an E28 or E34 M5. |
