Or will, on Tooseday.

No more bands on the sixth floor, by royal decree. But there's a nice open space on the third that we were offered, so we took it. With its own lounge/kitchen. Including a fridge, and a sink. And a bigger main room. There's a piano in there too for some reason, but apparently we can't keep the piano. :( And an intarwebs router so I don't have to sit in the hall on my laptop. One main room and two small ones, but we're having them take out the wall dividing the two smaller rooms. And a big goddamn steel door. Awesome band space will be awesome.

Pics will follow once our stuff's all up in that. Basically, it's an excuse for gear pron shots. :lol:

Sounds awesome. The new dorm I gotta live in is a renovated old hotel. It looks pretty nice on the inside, not sure how loud I can get with my bass yet but I'll find out.

Also, my camera apparently takes some wonky micro-USB connector, so my co-guitarist's scrounging one for me from his collection. In the meantime, I'll take some shots with the webcam on my laptop later when I go down there. :D

That is FINE 'Drome. Congrats on the new digs. The SR is of the 4 string flavor I see. hmmm tastey, but I am thinking I need to find me a 5 string APDV. Of course in trans teal. Chances of that are , well. None.

Stuffed bats are a fine addition to mic stands.

The color's right- 's a shitty webcam shot with most of the lights off, so it looks blackish, but I can assure you it's trans teal. There's a couple J-basses and a Carvin fretless five in oiled natural finish and an ebony board there too, but they're hiding. He's planning to get a Chapman stick for his next Bass Type Thing. :D

There's a squeaky rat on the other boom stand. And a stuffed monkey that was up on one of the wall guitar hangers, which currently have random shit hanging off them. They were put up All Fucked Up; I suspect someone was drunk at the time. :red: (No, it wasn't me. It wasn't our room then! :cop: )

And thank you, gentlemen.

We took home most of the synths. All that's in there currently is the Prophet, the Kurzweil, the Electribe ER-1 and the Roland SP-777. We are planning on upgrading the Kurzweil workstation synth eventually to either a current Kurzweil PC3X or Yamaha Motif 8, but 's not my board, so it's not my problem. I only play the thing sometimes. :lol: Additional live synthesis to be supplied probably by my Macbook Pro, or we'll run it as a backing track off the Mac Mini that controls the lighting rig. We'll see.
