I haz 'lectric gig tomorrow Just doing one set with my singers other band. I've never even met them, yet I shall do a complete 14 song set. I believe I was asked because they want the caulk. I have been well known to be a complete ham on stage and a crowd pleaser so there is a huge crowd from our work going to a smaller venue. Will be fucking packed. I know a lot of folks miss me playing on the electric for my antics, so I shall do my best. Can't quite rock it the same at an acoustic gig

At this moment it's a toss up, I have the tele packed, but they are doing some old Beatles shit so the P90s would sound good for that, then there's some Weezer too, dunno, I will let you know tomorrow |

ok, just got in. Shit load of chix from work rubbing all over me. I never practiced with the band, but the singer is the other half of my acoustic duo. So I went on for the second set, everything came out great, all covers but I used the Bugera, and fuck me, best $200 amo I've ever heard. Chimey, played it mostly on the clean channel but I out it in triode mode to drive it a bit more. sounded great. Used the tele, I put some rub on decals (like the ones I used on my white one I had) Band really liked having me there. It just got embarassing when the girls were chanting "joey joey joey" like we are a yankees game or something. Was fun, but drunk chix are drunk chix. Pics were taken and I believe video but only on a phone so it should be shit. |

Beverly Hills. All the stuff was pop type stuff, but an interesting mix. But my cute next door neighbor drove the 45 minute drive and had a blast. She had too much to drink and stepped up for the "gimme gimme" part tor kept the drinking to bourbon on the rocks. While I have been asking for Makers, I did settle to Jim Beam last night, but luckily I only had to buy one, the ladies of my employer all stepped up to try to get tor drunk, by purchasing my drinks for me. The band was already asked back to the place and asked me to play with them again. |
