It was a thread about me liking my jsx better than the slo. One guy flipped out and I told him to chill as it is only just an opinion.

Oh, my bad. I said " lol youre insane" to him which resulted in me receiving an infraction for " insulting another member".

Oh, I've gotten a few of those. I called a guy a dick because he said it was ok for some dude to beat on his wife and we shouldn't jump on him because we didn't know the whole story.

Don't get me wrong, I'm all for a good beating on a lippy chick and all...... but the dude was being a dick. :poke:

I like both toanz as well. If I had to sound like one it would be Warren, but I see a lot of people basj Joe's tone, but you can never mistake his tone. It's his. If it it what makes him happy and that is what he wants you to hear as his tone then, well, it's part of him. I couldn't play with his tone because I'm sure you would be able to hear my fuckups... I would have to do a lot of table/bar dancing / booty shake to make people overlook the errors.

I actually don't have any issue with it in context. I'd rather play with Warren's tones as they're a bit more my style.

FWIW, the Mark IV on the lowest power settings, cranked way up, copped a really nice Warren Haynes lead tone with EL34s in the outer sockets when I had that and the Eclipse. :nods:

Also, I really like Engines Of Creation. That record is cool as hell. I should dig it out again...
