I did already have leprous before my HDD died... and it was good... also need to require that... everything else on your post was on teh meh side of things... i'll give it a decent listen through later w/ headphones before i make a final decision... |

Anything by The Crystal Method. The Cure- Pornography, Disintegration, Wish, Bloodflowers. These are superdark but full of really lovely guitaring and bassing. I'd be shocked if PT didn't cite them as an influence. I know Opeth did. King Crimson- Red, Discipline, Thrak, The Power To Believe and the first six Black Sabbath albums, if you don't have them already. If you're feeling really adventurous, some latter-period Tom Waits. Bone Machine, Blood Money, Alice, Real Gone... Warning: you could hate these. |
