Legendary Led Zeppelin guitarist Jimmy Page, though considered one of the great British rock guitarists, is not actually of British ancestry. His parents are the famed American Negro League ballplayer Leroy "Satchel" Paige and his wife, fetish pinup model Betty Page. He adopted his mother's spelling of the last name.

Another little known fact: His middle name, as listed on the original birth certificate, is "Alarm Clock".

Seems the clerk responsible for typing up the certificates had a 'taste' for British Army surpus morphine. :idea:

Anyhow, upon its discovery by James' dismayed parents, it was adjusted a couple of days later, to read "Patrick" as they originally had intended.

Also, that clerk was promptly sacked. But who knows how many fucked up middle names went unnoticed up to that point. It is said, however, that thousands of mysteriously oddly named sixty-year-olds currently inhabit West London.

I can't say I see any negroid in him. I see the resemblance to mom though. He's always looked kind of asian, to me.

Maybe it's like when the white parents give birth to a black baby, only for some reason she cheated on a black guy with a chinese guy.
