Sooo many. Tool - Lateralus Therion - Gothic Kabbalah Suffocation - Pierced From Within Those are three that immediately come to mind, from fairly different genres. Ooh: King Crimson - In the Court... Production really helps to make that one. I also really like the 'organic' production on Lizard, with things moving around constantly, like some sort of audio creature. |

I know it's pretty random, but Neil Young's Mirrorball with Pearl Jam as the backing band has fucking sick production. Just super super raw and alive, unpolished and awesome. |

I don't like the sound of the Black Album. Guitars don't have enough oomph to my ears. |

I think oomph to todge means a nice crunch sound from a fender amp. |

Tone-words are teh lulz. "It is a musical sounding amp, with a really fat and chewy tone." |

I think the guitar toane on Black Album is just really weak and thin. It ain't no Heartwork, that's f'sho. Mind you I've never liked any Metallica guitar tone (or even metallica as a band)
