The little hole where the springy clippy thing on your XLR cable goes through... I latched one of the ribs on the cap into there and pried away.

No man. It's fine. These things are indestructible nearly, right? I actually just filmed myself opening another. But my computer lately only interfaces with my mic one in three times lately. Very frustrating.

58's are indestructible and can used for many purposes, like a hammer, blunt object, launched projectile, etc.. and still be used as a vocal cord interface. :nods:

I've never used a 58 for a hammer, but I have used a Boss pedal for a hammer before. It works. I suspect the 58 would be equally effective.
