Meh, IMO, the thing about these that rules, is the fact that they are single coils. There is already a shit ton of strattish sevenstrings with buckers innem out there. :idk:

Though I am quite fond of their Tele 7 as well. Strats have trems though. :love:

I suppose one could route a Tele body for a Strat trem, but then it's no longer a proper Tele as it doesn't have the bridge pickup encased in a big metal plate. :geek:

Yeah, but if you mess with it too much, you screw up the "2" position.

Ideally, a strat should have a hotter than normal single coil in it, like if stock is 5-6k, then it should have one more like 7-8k to darken and beef it up a little, but without drastically altering its stratness.

A lime grean single hum shredder guitar is a whole other ball of :love:

Well Id do HSS. Maybe I haven't used a proper strat single bridge pup, but I have never been a fan.

I wonder how hard it would be to refinish one of those ...

A Strat or Tele tuned down through a nice clean amp is actually quite :love: .
