I suppose one could route a Tele body for a Strat trem, but then it's no longer a proper Tele as it doesn't have the bridge pickup encased in a big metal plate.

We need to design a trem encased in a proper tele bridge plate which not a fucking bigsby. In brass.

Yeah, but if you mess with it too much, you screw up the "2" position.

Ideally, a strat should have a hotter than normal single coil in it, like if stock is 5-6k, then it should have one more like 7-8k to darken and beef it up a little, but without drastically altering its stratness.
