Yo, that is some kind of bullshit. Hopefully, the pig who wound up with your noisermerizer gives it a good listen before he/she wipes it and flips it on craigslist. Or.  They are too lazy to do so, and you can get it back later this week with all of yer sounds still onnit.  When they flip it on craigslist.

I've heard people say that the headphone amp in iPods sucks. I thought it was a bunch of audiophile BS until I started playing tracks in the Blackberry. What a difference! So maybe now is your opportunity to obtain an alternative device for your portable listening. |

When I was on the phone with V the other day she recommended me some alternatives to ze iPod. And told me a funny story about losing her Blackberry. But yes, the headphone amp in the iPod does suck, actually quite a lot, even compared to the headphone out on my MacBook Pro there's a noticeable difference with the same 'phones and the iPod is clearly the shittier of the two. That says something pretty severe, I think. Ok, it might be the converters? But it's not good sounding compared to anything else that I have. Like, actually anything else.I like tor's suggestion re: massive audiophile headphone amp. Are those EL34s in there? I'll run a pair of these in stereo with a Radio Shack Y-cable into the speaker outs!
