Er. Yeah. I could see that. Actually, a surprisingly large number of even the younger Cambodians currently in this country have seen some pretty fucked up stuff go down first hand, or were brought here by folks who did and who are still superfuckedup by it.

It is certainly not a subject i would tend to bring up myself with folks whose history i didn't know very well. :red: Especially foks in the midtwenties and up sort of age group.

I should clarify she is like, 3rd generation American. She is more southern than I am, complete with an amazingly southern accent.

I think she was mostly uncomfortable because she was expecting me to sing something sweeter/more flirtatious/written by Death Cab for Cutie.

Being a hipster, whenever I say to a girl, "Hey, let me sing you a song!" they usually assume it is written by The Decemberists or Iron & Wine.

I voted POL-pot fopr just an awesum amount of head, but Forest Whittaker was excellent with his wonky eye in the movie, so it was very close :monocle:
