NWD (workstation)
Yamaha MM6 - My D50 keys are about shot, I got it off MF as a restock, for 150 off the regular street price, seems very light, especially compared to the d50 but it has some great sounds, they are sounds from the motif.
looks like this

Noice! There's some good sounds on the Yamaha boards. What songs do you use it on live?
Our ancient Kurzweil is on its last legs (and gigging the thing does it no favors) so we were thinking of a Yamaha workstation as well... But we're probably gonna go with another Kurzweil.

Well one of the bands is a pop/dance/party coverband so we do Dance (current) to Metallica so I use a lot of piano tones, and fuzzy Phat bassy tones. Sawtooth stuff. one of teh other bands is a 80's-90's-current cover band (mostly same type stuff) I use the Micron for my secondary sounds, and some arpeggiated stuff. I can't believe how light this Yamaha is. I usually like heavier keys also, but the response on this yamaha is real good.
