No pictars yet because I did not realize by camera battery was dead before I had to go to work. TL;DR below. So let me tell you a bit about my brother. Not the rapper, the other one. Ryan is the black sheep of the family in the sense that he has been financially successful. He triple majored at USC (South Carolina Miek) in International Business, Marketing and Japanese. He landed a job a year out of school as assistant director of online ad sales at a company very similar (and that works with) google. Since then he has gotten a bunch o' promotions and such to the point where he lives quite comfortably with his weimaraner Max. No wife, but my rapper brother did just move in. Since Ryan has that craazy disposable income I keep hearing about, he has been afforded the opportunity to buy a whole bunch of nice crap that half of the time he ends up losing interest in. TL;DR: My brother has a comfy job and buys nice things, but has a short attention span. So a few years back he ended up buying his dream guitar, a Jimi Hendrix sig model Strat from Fender Japan, Ishibashi or whatevs. It looks like this:  HE ALSO had an Orange Tiny Terror and a matching orange Avatar 1x12 with a Hellatone 30 in there. Well, he has since drifted more to the electronic side of music making (he is about to get the big ol' Kaoss pad pro thingy) and the strat and amp have been neglected. Both were dusty, and the strat needs some strings and a bit of TLC. SO HE WAS LIEK, "DEVIN YOU SHOULD JUST HAVE THEM INDEFINITELY."   I was like, "K" So now I have all that, pics forthcoming. |

Even with the super dirty and dead strings, it plays pretty damn nicely and sounded decent. I can't wait to liven it up with a fresh set. It also has the US Texas Specials in it, which is kinda nice. |
