Xaviere finally made a Jazzmaster model with the correct bridge and JM pickups. Yeah. Might buy that. |

http://www.guitarfetish.com/XV-JT100-Of ... _2206.html "The Neck features vintage style radius with a sweet solid Rosewood fingerboard and 22 frets. The 2 3/16" Heel width is cut the same as the traditional "Strat" heel rout- and is compatible with replacement "Strat" necks." So I can slap a new neck on there too if I don't dig the Xaviere one. Nice. |

Didn't i already post that? And yeah, it is not 100% Jazzmaster, but for me, it is close enough. If i had the cash, i would hit it. Also, from what i have heard, the necks on the GFS stuff are good. |

They are. I like my Tele neck at least, I figure it wouldn't be too much of a stretch from that aside from the rosewood board. And yeah, it is missing the switching system, but I planned to take that out, so that is kind of a plus. But it hits close enough to what I want to be worth it, especially at 1/4 of the price for the Fender alternative. Edit: Did you? I must have missed it ... I am liking their SGs too. they have a new headstock that, IMO, looks much better than the muffin top one. Old: New: |

Yeah, the new headstock is drastically improved. I was digging on that goldish SG as well. I need to see one in person. If it is more mettallic tan/champagne, i could rock it. If it is more like straight up gold, i would probably opt for the white one. |

I feel the same way. This picture: Is making it seem a bit more on the metallicy/champagney side. I would still rock it gold, but would prefer the lighter shade. |

FUCKING GFS. $572.82 for the gold SG (in black HSC) and the green JM (in Brown HSC) shipped to my door. Fucking fuck fuck. Add another ~$175 to gnab tor's tele and a HSC for it, plus ~$150 in new pickups for my ash tele and the Talman aaand we are at a solid ~$900 I might be spending at that goddamn place in 2011. Fucking GFS. I need to ask Jay about getting a motherfucking discount, I will after all have four Xavier guitars at that point, having owned another as well. |

Ok so, if this laptop ends up doing OK with Windows 7, Reaper and SD2.0 then I can hold off on buying a new PC. I can downsize from the original interface I was going to get for one of the smaller focusrites, since I won't need to be micing any drums or full bands anytime soon. I am pretty much going to the small electronic setup. That means If I save up from now until I get my tax return back, I can buy my new interface, those two guitars and some effects/mics/cables/random stuff I have been meaning to get. If I sell the Whammy and the Vox, I can get the M9 as well. Holy fuck I might actually have my setup going before the summer. |
