 Got one of my old guitars back today after a bud had it on long term loan. He's the dude who made the guitar I posted in the other thread and he's refretted it and stuck some dimarzios in it. It plays so fucking fast its unreal! he also replaced the ibanez logo as it had fallen off. Its an '87 with the really silly neck btw

Ibanez does the shredder thing better than just about anyone. They really perfected the Edge trem also. Just wish they started with the 3 piece necks earlier |

the IS silly. I love shredding on those, 'cept my hand starts to cramp on a thin neck like that if I do rhythms now. I just got too used to big ol' necks. |

Its certainly a lot thinner than I'd normally go for. I'm using it to see how I get on with the 25.5" scale length having played 24 3/4" for the last 4 years which is starting to show its weakness for playing the faster techy stuff all the way down in B. |

I remember the Ibby Wizard necks feeling too thin and flat for me. Hand cramps all day. They are shredalicious though. |
