My Orange TT w/ H30 loaded 1x12 that is not getting used for a Carvin Contour 66 with flamed maple body and 'stock, and birdseye maple neck and board. Pickups replaced with DiMarzio Evos, and has a couple of dents.

For TGPers:

For everyone else, just the photos:

Damn pretty guitar, would fill my super-strat needs perfectly. I am thinking I might do it.

Looking at the Carvin site, I'd be looking at somewhere between $1000 - $1200 to buy this new.

Do you need to ship the amp someplace to do the deal?

Not sure, but most likely. Which is kind of a big concern.

Especially because shipping is going to be rapespensive on the map+cab, compared to what it will cost the dood to mail the geetar.

Yeah, but maybe not super bad. The head itself should actually be kinda cheapish to ship, it is small and doesn't way much. The cab is my main concern, because that will probably be $50 - $70.

On the other hand, there is a pretty big difference in value, so it isn't a major hit.

It doesn't have gold hardware, which is good.

Also, I like "rapespensive".

Passed on the Carvin.

Another trade offer came up, this time for just the TT head though.

One of these w/ gigbag:

and one of these on top w/ adapter and original box:

And I would still have the cab to sell/trade.

That seems a better deal to me, though the resale on epis is also just above shitty. Dollar-wise, what do you value the TT at?

That cab strikes me as utility-useful anyhow. I would hang on to it probably(and not just because i wouldn't want to lose its shipping value in a trade). Can never have too many speaker flavors. Were i not baroque, i would buy it from you meseff. A 1x12 w/ G12H30 is what is next on my speakerlist.

I put the TT at about $300-350 on a good day. That Epi retailed at $379, and Decimators start at over $100, so it really doesn't seem like a bad deal. What I have read on the intarwubs indicates these limited runs were actually really solid guitars. All mahogany with a set neck is not a bad start.

Yeah, i dig the LP Jr/Special style(lighter like an SG, thicker body a little more like a tele), P90 possession, and the fact that it uses a tuneomatic instead of the Jr-style wraparound/non-intonatable bridge.

They are solid guitars, i would say about similar to the $250-300 range of Agiles.

hmmm, I like LP Specials, but I think you could get a better deal out of the TT. Resale on Epi's isn't great as well.

Rapespensive may be my new favorite word.
