Ew on gold hardware LPs.

Actually while i very much support the idea of a place that only sells purple guitars, nothing in their inventory strikes me as being quite... purple enough?

I daresay, they need more purple guitars.

I mean, i think we all do. But none of us run a website called purpleguitars.net, so they need more, especially.

Also: Goddamn i love dave chappelle so much.

Also Also: Purple flavored drink. You can't fuck with that shit.

Purple flavored anything really.

I am sure i have mentioned that before. But i am a very strong supporter of the flavor purple.

I'd prefer plain chrome or smoked chrome on the purple one. I think the gold works nicely on the brown, and I'm generally not a fan of gold hardware in general. It has a tendency to look ghetto-fabulous. The brown Les Paul Florentine has enough class to do it and actually look elegant, though.

Agreed. I am not one to make my guitars shiney shiney. They pretty much feel like if they are not being practicesd or gigged on they do not get touched. I changed string fast, and they might get wiped down after a gig so the strings don't die but they do not get polished etc. So the chromey bits get tarnished quickly and nothing looks worse them dirty gold hardware. Chrome/nickel will at least relic nicely, but gold hardware just looks dirty and shitty.

Also dsaid purple store should hire a photographer. The piktars do not bring the purple any justice. How about we post some nice purple guitars....

Oooh. Sparkle PurpleBurst on that Burns is nicey nice.

Also exceptional: the SG, and the what-looks-like-a-charvelesque-partocaster with the bengaltiger-wide pattern in the body. Not generally one for OTT quilted maples on geetars, but in the right kind of transparent purple, it is most definitely: Hotte.

I have always liked the old CBS style gigantofender headstocks the most of the strat-styles.

To me, the DiPinto one echoes that a bit, but as if a cartoon version. Cover it in mother of toilet seat, and that is an OTT concept that i can get behind... Though... i probably wouldn't play one myself, unless i started doing surf rock live. It is a guitar that looks like fun to me.

Indeed when i saw these doods, the ridiculous shape fit right in, with the masks and the go-go dancers:

Which half? This is important on a very practical level. :red:
