OK so last GnR gig I did I hated the tone I had using my Hamer Tele and 6100. But I wasn't using my regular cab (mix of greenies and v30's) I had forgotten about it and practiced last night same guitar through a DSL100 not sure of the cab but probably the standard 75's innit. Hamer has Tele Hotrails in the bridge, I don't think the pots were changed to 500k (they are not marked) so I think they are 250 but that wouldn't make it biting bright... Am I just spoiled with my Bogner? It maybe the cab, the 6100 sounded great the first few times I used it on the GnR thing, but I used a Mesa cab once and my cab another time, or is my tele too bright and should I bring my 339 or LP.... speek at me |

I blame the cab, if it contained aforementioned speakers. Speakers are a big deal, man. |

yar, I think I will bring my cab tonight. It makes it easy since this band has a big Van thingy (complete with band magnetic signage and all.... but I will put my cab in my car. (Fuck it's in my basement... why would I put a 4x12 in the basement???) |
