With P-90s.

You know it would be the shit.
:red:

Anyways, any suggestions on non-Gibson or Epiphone explorer type guitars?
I am looking for the traditional style ones, none of that ESP-style stuff.
It doesn't have to be DEAD ON Gibson clone, but something with a similar styling.

The P-90s would be aftermarket humbucker-sized dealies, so standard sized humbuckers are good to go!

Oh, and I forgot to mention;
I am looking for something semi-affordable.
Thus the whole non-Gibson alternative schtick, and no Epiphones because I want to see what else is out there.

yeah I've wanted an explorer for a while, I would suggest the Duncan P-Rails in the pups. They will do Hum/SC/P90

I've long wanted to put them in something. I should really put then in my 72 deluxe

I am curious about those P-rails, but I am somewhat skeptical..
I will probably go with the regular P-90 as I will have humbuckers and traditional SCs covered with my Mustang and the Jaguar/Tele dealie.

And thank you for finding that kit, that is a possibility fo sho.
:D

I think I should get a P rail for my 72 and let you guys know how it works out. I am skeptical as well. It seems to good. Like a hermaphrodite, there's so many options but are you really getting the best of both worlds??? Hmmm gotta keep trying....

Okay, nevermind.
I think I'll just get an Epiphone Korina Explorer.
Korina with golden P-90s.

They also have it in red, black and white, but I figured you'd prefer the pink.

I know I would.

It is nice, I just do not like most Epiphone products. I do want to try one of those Faded Dots though.

All of the Jap models I have played were nice, and the Sheratons are nice as well.

Actually the Wildkat was pretty sweet too.

I guess really I just don't like Epi LPs or SGs, mostly because I think they are way too overpriced. The Epi SGs I have played always felt too cheap for the ~$500 they cost. I felt the same about the LPs I played/owned. I got a Hamer DC in a straight up trade for the Epi LP and it was vastly superior in quality and toanes.

I have heard good things about the Epi Explorers.
We shall see, though.
I just want a Korina Explorer with P-90s.
Is that too much to ask for?
