I was afraid to play the PRS McCarty i had. It's pristine. Not a mark on it. Never went out of tune, it's perfect.

I should not own perfect things. I fuck shit up.


so I traded it for a beautiful 1987 52 Tele RI. Yes, butterscotch and blackguard. worn fretboard, thin lacquer where the arm rests, and plays perfectly. light enough that I could spend half a day chopping trees with it.

did I mention the finish is checking?
