IDk... I'm 50/50 on this guy... While the features are very interesting... Id much prefer a modified Tele look rather then Tele trying to be a LP.

I like the color and body style, but that is about it. IMO, tune-o-matics look silly on telecasters. And i am not a fan of the pickguard shape either. I do like the idea of a semihollow tele though. A friend of mine had one that was pretty amazing sounding. Someday, i intend to build a maple bodied one with filtertron-ish pickups in it.

My personal plan is to put humbucker-sized P90s in a semihollow Tele with the proper (albeit with a humbucker cutout) bridgeplate. It will be transparent purple or (solid) silver, I haven't decided on that yet. |
