That looks sweet!

What type of tele is that, that it has a thin enough finish to wear that way at the forearm?

Also, how do you like that GFS pickup?

Lastly, what is in the bridge spot?

That is an awesome tele! Great touch with the Callaham bridge.

It a dirty sanchez Mexican One of the 50th so I think what a 96? The guy did some light relicing so that's the worn edge. well done though. The Bridge alnico is a GFS also the vintage alnico 50 :http://www.guitarfetish.com/Repro-1950S-Telecaster-Alnico-Boutique-Bridge-Pickup_p_653.html

I also bought a xavier on their blem blowout and picked up a rails for the tele bridge and a dpdt pot to split it. :nods:

this one will also get the famous tor floral decal designs, they look great on white. :unstrung:

That is cool, it looks like it has a lot thinner paint on it than that era MIM usually would. Like the paint on mine(a 97 or 98 IIRC), is oh, about half an inch thick... :red:

Also, have you gotten the Xavier yet? I am excite for pictars. Been eying those for a spell. Also curious as to what yours winds up weighing. :isay:

Which rail did you pick up for it?

I didn't answer about the GFS, it sounds real nice. I won't get it out to a practice until Tues. See how it stands up there. I didn't get any time tonight to really crank her open, but the 59 is nice lttle dark, but nice. The bridge pup is very tele-y. I ran a few licks on it and  I render a full review next wednesday after practice

I just ordered the xaviere today, I was holding off and fucked my self by losing a few off clearance that I wanted but I git a tele damn thing was $119, how do I not buy it. I got the pup on clearance also, the XL Lil puncher I think http://www.guitarfetish.com/Lil-Puncher ... _2145.html I will weigh it once it's in. Hey I was thinking of you as they have a ton of bodies and neck in clearance and 15% off the clearance price :panic:

Yeah, i try to avoid going there when i am as broke as i am. It only makes me sad.

Do you have a multimeter? I would be curious to see which of the three output levels of rail you wind up receiving, and what you think of it. :huzzah:

I really like the cool vintage (the older non-XL type) ones i have in my main geetar. At some point i was thinking to later on pick up some of the hotter XLs and get all splitty wif them in something.

Yesh I have a meter, I'll take the readings once I put it in.

This tele is wired without a tone right now. but didn't like tone pots so he's got 2 volumes and the pup selector. I don't really use the tone pots myself that often, but the tele can get very high endy so I may rewire it back to a vol and tone

also came with original bridge, original pups and white guard..

Sounds like a great deal.

And yeah, i have been experimenting with no tone control on my garbagecaster. Kind of too bright for me to do it any more. When i put the neck pickup hole in it, i will rewire it for a more or less standard tele style. Maybe with a series/parallel switch, which i am enjoying in the Lowestang.

Usually with a tele, i set it for a pretty bright nice big neck pickup semiclean sound. Then for the bridge, i just drop the tone like an 8th of a turn or so to curb some of the treble violence. It is not as quick as like on an LP just being able to set it, and then flick the switch and have it ready to go, but i have sort of grown accustomed to doing it this way, i guess. :red:

I'm a cheap bastid, so I make all my jewelry. Except rings. I can't make rings. But I've lost all my really cool rings over the years anyway. Even my nifty Alchemy stuff.
