HCAF has been loving them JC amps.

I would be lying to say if I was interested in their iso cabs, but Devin (IGNORITE!) said they might be coming out with a second, improved/debugged, version that I should wait for.

Their heads seem to get a lot of love though. SLOs are probably one of my favorite high gain amps, at least that I have heard. I just really have no need for one :idk: If I were to go high gain, I would probably go with something along the Marshall/Bogner/Splawn or AC30 lines. I feel like they would play nicely with what I am theorizing my modded bAssman will sound like :red:

I will look into one of those Jet City Maps. I might have a line on a trade for a Shiva, I played one a while back and really like it but did not have the scratch at the time. Now I have the chance to sell a couple of things I'm not using and/or trade for it. This of course comes after a night where I was unhappy with my tone. I will check out a Jet City though.

Aye, czech this one if possible: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... sku=423669

Actually birch plywood cab, two channels, 2x12, 50w. Soldano circuit. Nice heavy trace PCB boards. $800 new is not very much at all for that amount of map.

And also, the single channel(IIRC) 20 watter is only like $300: http://guitars.musiciansfriend.com/prod ... sku=583601

Yeah, basically a chinese Soldano Atomic 16. Cheaper transformers maybe, but really.

I haven't been into a GC in a few. But i *think* they should have at least the 20w. I seem to vaguely recall that they carried the brand anyhow.

EDIT: Appears so: http://www.guitarcenter.com/Jet-City.gc

Guys at TGP seem to dig this a lot, I'm thinking the 50 watter 2 channel may be a great low budget option. One of the guys there swears the head he bought sounded exactly the same as his HR, but 1/3 the price.

OOOH. Just saw this:

And it seems pretty doap.

Basically, like the 50 watter, but as a 20 watter. Or, like the 20 watter, but with a second channel and fx loop.

I only wish it was 6V6-based.

Ah, that Jet City does look teh dope.

I think we should have the Toan King executed, though.

I've been considering the JCA100H.

That's FastRedPonyCar's demo of it, and it sounds like something that'd be useful for just about everything I do, since I don't only play metal nowadays.
